school day 1 - lectures were interesting, really glad i chose this as a major because i really enjoy learning whats being taught in lecture/s today, about bilingualism, and about globalisation. i think there's a lot i need to research about, or to just read up on, its quite exciting, actually. classmates rock, everyone's really nice, and lms as a whole, everyone's super excited about languages and linguistics in general. which is whoopee.
the room's looking really nice now, now tt ashley's moved in. and even though its a chore to climb up 6 levels everyday, its quieter up here on the sixth level, and there's less ppl. we have nice neighbours! rajes and siva; i spent last night sitting in their room slacking. somehow nights are nice to spend inside ur room, and just enjoying the peace and quiet while reading a linguistics text. i understand now why johnho says i would love ANU if i had gone. imagine that!
dy's gone backkk into the forests of tekong until wednesday, so i wont see him till friday. its national day week, for goodness sake, let the guys off.
okay, i have like typed this entry for almost two hours because keep breaking off to do stuff. haha.
